We never blend everything into one "eligibility score". Academic eligibility, funding and cost are assessed by three separate engines, and each one tells you exactly why.
Academic eligibility
Your qualifications, grades and English are compared against each course's published requirements. Result: Match, Potential match, More information required, or Requirements not currently met.
Funding eligibility
Residency, course level, previous study, income and dependants are run against a configurable rules database — including the rules that apply from January 2027.
Cost information
Tuition, visa fees, the health surcharge, the maintenance funds requirement, accommodation and our own service fees — separated so you can see who charges what.

What funding might I get?
We estimate your tuition fee loan, maintenance loan and additional support from a rules database an administrator can update — including the switch to the Lifelong Learning Entitlement for courses starting on or after 1 January 2027. Previous study and previous funding are taken into account.

No. Funding results are estimates based on the information you provide and do not constitute a final funding decision. Your funding body carries out the official assessment.
Does a match mean I will be accepted?
No. We compare your recorded qualifications with each course's published requirements. Final admission decisions are made by the university or education provider.
I'm not sure what I want to study. Can I still use this?

Do you charge students?
Core matching, eligibility and cost information are free. Optional support services are listed with their prices before you buy, and are clearly separated from government and university fees.
Can you advise me on my visa?
We provide general information about the student route, fees and the financial requirement. Where regulated immigration advice is needed we refer you to an appropriately authorised adviser.
